Notes:
in a letter dated 8 March 2005 and received on 14 March 2005, the Secretary to the Executive Body for the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution, informed the Secretary-General that at its twenty-second session, the Executive Body adopted by consensus an adjustment to annex II to the Protocol necessary to enable Cyprus's accession to the Protocol, agreeing to add its name, together with emission levels, sulphur emission ceilings and percentage emission reductions. In accordance with article 11 of the Protocol, the adoption of the adjustment will become effective on the ninetieth day following the date of the said letter, that is to say on 12 May 2005.
