The Agreement requires four ratifications for it to enter into force. As at 8 July 2014, Palau, Tuvalu, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Samoa, Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Niue, Australia and Solomon Islands have signed the Agreement. 6. Following the Forum Fisheries Committee Ministerial Meeting on 1-2 July 2014, three of the four countries required to bring the Agreement into force have ratified.
