By letter dated 16 August 2017, the Executive Secretaries of the Rotterdam Convention informed the depositary on 21 August 2017 that at its eighth meeting, held in Geneva from 24 April to 5 May 2017, by decisions RC-8/2, RC-8/3, RC-8/4 and RC-8/5, the Conference of the Parties to the above Convention, in accordance with the procedure laid down in paragraph 5 of article 22 of the Convention, adopted amendments to Annex III. In accordance with paragraph 5 (c) of article 22 of the Convention, the Conference of the Parties, in the same decisions, decided that these amendments will enter into force for all Parties on 15 September 2017.
