Data entry notes:
IWC.CCG.1149: Amendments to the Schedule of the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling (1946) as adopted at the Commission's 65 th Meeting held in Slovenia,15-18 September 2014 Commissioners and Contracting Governments were notified of amendments to the Schedule of the ICRW adopted at IWC65 through Circular Communication IWC.CCG.1132 of 7 October 2014. The Government of the Czech Republic lodged an objection to these amendments within the prescribed 90 day notice period (see Circular Communication IWC.CCG.1139 of 5 January 2015) and this instituted an additional 90 day notice period during which any other Contracting Government could present objection to the amendments in accordance with the procedure given at Article V paragraph 3 of the Convention. This additional notice period expired on 4 April 2015. No further objections were received during the additional notice period. Therefore the amendments to the Schedule of the ICRW (1946) agreed at IWC65 in Slovenia became effective with respect to the Contracting Governments, with the exception of the Czech Republic, from 4 April 2015.
