On behalf of the Greek government the Agreement was ratified with Law No. 2692 of March 11, 1999.; On behalf of the Greek government the Agreement was ratified with Law No. 2692 of March 11, 1999.; The Agreement shall enter into force thirty (30) days after the date on which the contracting parties have exchanged written notifications informing each other that the procedures, required by their resp ective laws to this end, have been completed. It shall remain into force for a period of five (5) years.; The two parties have agreed to make every e ffort to develop co-operation in all fields deemed to be in their mutual interest and benefit. The co-operation shall extend, among others, in the sector of agriculture (including agro-industry), environmental protection and shall be aimed at strengthening and encouraging co-operation between economic operators, with a view to promote investment, joint ventures, licensing agreements and other forms of co-operation between them.
