The present Convention lays down sanitary measures to be undertaken at th e international station of Domodossola with a view to preventing the spread of diseases and infections during the trade or transport of meat, cattle and animal products from Switzerland to Italy and from Italy to Switzerland. Sanitary inspections shall be carried out by the competent veterinary authorities (art. 8).
