On behalf of the Greek Government the MOU was ratified with Law No. 2886 of 19 February 2001.; On behalf of the Greek Government the MOU was ratified with Law No. 2886 of 19 February 2001.; This Memorandum enters into force, after the exchange of notes on its approval between both sides, it is valid for four years from its date of approval, and will be renewed for new periods of four years unless either, party informs the other in writing of its intention to terminate the agreement three months prior to the expiration date of the current period of validity.; Both Parties, desiring to develop co-operation in the field of agriculture, have agreed to co-operate in: a) facilitating the agricultural trade between each other and in promoting agricultural trade to other countries; b) exchanging the know-how and technical expertise in agricultural related matters; c) initiating joint research and technology transfer programs; d) organising training courses, workshops, seminars and other human resource development activities. Furthermore, fields of co-operation will include, but not limited to, agricultural policy and planning, marketing, farmers' organisations, forestry, water management, livestock, plant protection and quarantine, rainfed agriculture. [F9]The two Parties have also agreed on the establishment of a Joint agricultural Committee, chaired by the Ministers of Agriculture of both sides. This Committee shall meet at least once every two years alternately in Greece and Palestinian National Authority.
