In connexion with the Agreement signed this day between Denmark and Norway concerning the East Greenland fisheries, the Governments of the two countries wish to state the following:

The parties agree on the desirability of investigating the possibilities for co-operation, on a basis of reciprocity, even after the expiry of the period agreed upon, with a view to developing the fishing industry of East Greenland, particularly with the aim of benefiting the resident population and economy of Greenland.

DONE at Oslo, on 20 April 1967, in two original copies in the Danish and Norwegian languages, both texts being equally authentic.
