DECISION 3(VI) of the International Tropical Timber Council; Sixth Session; ITTC(VI)/13; Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire, 16-24 May 1989
The International Tropical Timber Council,
Decides to extend the International Tropical Timber Agreement for a period of two years starting 1 April 1990 and ending 31 March 1992.
Recognizes that this decision may be part of a four-year extension of the Agreement and that the Council may decide to extend the Agreement by additional two years in accordance with Article 42, paragraph 2.
Further decides to return to this question at the Tenth Session of the Council.
