Article XV, Paragraph 3 provides that when the Pacific Salmon Treaty (CTS 1985 No. 7) enters into force, the Convention between Canada and the United States of America for the Protection, Preservation and Extension of the Sockeye Salmon Fishery in the Fraser River System will terminate, and that the transfer of responsibilities from the International Pacific Salmon Fisheries Commission, established under the Convention, to the Pacific Salmon Commission, the Fraser River Panel and the Government of Canada will be as agreed by the parties.
