This Decree promulgates the Agreement for Water Resources Exploitation within the Uruguai River and its effluent Pepiri-Guaçu River, between the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil and the Government of the Republic of Argentina. It establishes the conditions for the creation and use of hydropower waterworks bet ween the two Governments. It also prescribes projects on the improvement of navigation, on water flood prevention and rational use of river waters.
