Coded AgreementsThe IEA Database Project has coded 152 "original MEA agreements" (i.e., treaties, conventions, and other agreements not including protocols, amendments, and other modifications) in an effort to systematically identify particular legal clauses and institutional features. The column on the LEFT identifies the codes used and the links call up lists of those agreements that have one or more provisions that meet the conditions for that coding. The column on the RIGHT lists the agreements that have been coded and the links call up the agreement text with assigned codes identified for all provisions. A copy of the coding rules used in coding these agreements, please download the Coding Manual.
